Spring of Hope Concert

Harp at Spring Concert
The Trinity Jubilee Foundation hosted a Spring of Hope Concert which featured acclaimed Singer Debi Sander Walker, Harpist Lucile Brais Hildesheim and Pianist Scott Auchinleck. All proceeds went to assist CAUSE Kids and Arctic Children and Youth Foundation. The concert was co-sponsored by the Jewel 98.5 and MC'd by Frances Ebbrell.

Debi Sander Walker, Multi-talented performer

Debi is classically trained but surprises her audiences with a wide range of repertoire spanning the ages and genres of music. From Patsy Cline to jazz, the classics, and sensual ballads, Debi is a consummate entertainer. She was named "Musician of the Year" and was nominated for the "Woman of Distinction Pinnacle Award." Her company, Debi Sander Walker Entertainment received the Sam McCallion Community Involvement Award. Debi recently returned from appearances in the United States where she was the headlining performer for a jazz festival. Debi Sander Walker lives in Mississauga.


Lucile Brais Hildesheim, B.Mus. Harpist

Lucile’s musical roots are in classical music, but more recently has diversified into folk, South-American, Renaissance and Medieval music. Lucile has been heard regularly on CBC and Radio- Canada and is featured regularly in the Chamber Music series at the Unitarian Church, with the Strings of St. John’s, Seventeen Voyces, and the Ottawa Choral Society. Lucile teaches harp at the University of Ottawa and in her private studio.


Scott Auchinleck, M.Mus. Accompanyist

Scott has been playing the organ, directing choirs, and teaching music in Montreal, the Eastern Townships, and the Ottawa area for over fifteen years. As Trinity’s Director of Music, he plays keyboard while leading the T@9 band, and at the traditional service, he directs the choir and alternates between playing Trinity’s 2200 pipe Casavant organ and the baby grand piano.
